THREE films will be shown on a huge outdoor screen in Brinton Park later this month as part of an annual Kidderminster festival.
Wyre Forest District Council has organised the free event on Sunday, August 27, as one of the events for Kidderminster Arts Festival.
The movie marathon starts at 12pm with a screening of the Disney classic, ‘The Lion King’. At 3pm there is another Disney favourite, ‘Mary Poppins’ and there will be dancing and singing to ‘Dirty Dancing’ from 5pm.
Residents were asked which films they would like screened and took part in an online poll earlier this year.
Councillor Juliet Smith, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Community Protection said: “We are delighted to have the outdoor cinema event back in Brinton Park.”
There will also be children’s rides, refreshments and stalls around Brinton Park.
