A BEWDLEY entertainer is bringing the circus to Stourport town this Easter for a weekend of skills workshops for youngsters.
Circus enthusiast and local teaching assistant Anthony Arnold is holding Circus Skills events to inspire a new generation of performers. The club take place on April 14 and 15 at the Stourport Civic Centre, where children of all ages can learn the ropes of circus entertainment and develop their performance skills.
Anthony developed his interest in circus tricks after his mother taught him how to juggle at the age of seven – propelling him to master iconic tricks such as the diabolo, stilt walking, and unicycle riding.
The Saturday club runs from 1 – 4pm, with the Sunday club running from 12 – 3pm.
Prices are £4 per child or £6 for two children. Children must also be accompanied by an adult.
Spaces for the workshops can be booked via the civic on 01299 823339.
