STOURPORT-on-Severn Brass Band will perform its inaugural concert with a school choir this weekend.
The band will be joined by St John’s CE Primary School group ‘The Bandits’ for the show at Stourport Civic on Saturday, June 9 at 7pm.
Their programme will comprise of music from popular family films, traditional pieces, up-beat contemporary choices before ending with a “show-stopping” finale.
Musical director Oli Wilson said: “The band is delighted to be performing with St John’s CE Primary School.
“Taking music into the community, particularly for young audiences, is one of the band’s key focuses.
“Channelling energy into music brings much value and enjoyment to young people’s live and we are delighted to take up this opportunity and share the stage with such talented students.
“We have a diverse programme, something for everyone, from Disney and The Proclaimers to contemporary pieces that everyone will know.”
