The life and soul of learning Thinking of studying something a little different now that you have received your GCSE results or just fancy a change in career then why not try one of Kidderminster College's Holistic Therapy courses?
Holistic therapy treats the mind, body and soul through the ancient arts of aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage, reiki and swedish body massage and through Kidderminster College's full and part time programme of Holistic Therapy courses, you could practice these much-loved popular therapies.
27 year-old Hannah has chosen to study Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Holistic Therapies this September as part of a life overhaul: "I've been in management for a number of years and it has never made me happy, it was only after a small health scare that I realised that I should be doing something which I enjoy and makes me happy.
"I chose Holistic Therapy as it is a passion of mine, I love visiting spas and have been to some fabulous retreats all over the world. Being a spiritual person, I have drawn strength from holistic therapies in the past and now I want to be able to give something back and be able to help people myself.
"I'm really excited about starting the course," continues Hannah. "Kidderminster College is a fantastic location; I took a part-time BTEC in management there and last year I did a recreational course in Dressmaking. Everything in the college is brand new and tailored towards helping students learn, there is a fantastic atmosphere and the tutors have always been brilliant."
Pamela Lamb, course tutor, said: "We have a variety of courses available for students interested in Holistic Therapies, if you have already completed a beauty therapy course then you could just dip into one of our part-time courses in aromatherapy, reflexology or Indian head massage or if, like Hannah, you fancy a whole new outlook and a career in Holistic Therapies, there are still places available on our full time courses."
