STOURPORT theatre fans can enjoy one of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies in an open-air performance for all the family.
Folksy Theatre will be bringing the classic play Love's Labour's Lost to Bishops Wood Centre, Stourport on Wednesday August 22 as part of their summer tour.
The story follows The King of Navarre and his lords, who give up food, women and sleep to study for three years.
But this is complicated by the arrival of the Princess of France and her ladies-in-waiting.
People can expect a colourful performance filled with live music, audience interaction and moments of tomfoolery.
People are also encouraged to bring picnics, folding chairs and blankets.
Play director Tom Hardwicke said: “We always aim to make our productions as enjoyable and accessible as possible.
"Our modern twist and wonderful live musicians, help bring Shakespeare’s words alive in a fun and authentic way.”
Adult tickets cost £13.50, concession tickets cost £10, child tickets cost £8, and a family tickets costs £38 and are available at http://www.folksytheatre.co.uk
Gates open at 1pm, and the performance begins at 2pm.
