TALENTED youngsters will be showcasing their abilities next month at a show in aid of a Stourport charity.
Mentor Link children’s charity’s second annual “Who’s Got Talent” event, aimed at under 16s, will take place at the Gainsborough House Hotel in Kidderminster on Sunday, September 16.
Twenty children, from the age of five, made it through to the grand final following auditions held in May.
They will be treading the boards for a battle to win £100 cash prize and a photo shoot with For All Seasons Photography with Rachel Francis. All contestants will receive a memento from the event.
Professional judges Claire Worboys, David Lawrence and Diane Ricci – who have a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry – will be selecting the lucky winners.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the charity which mentors and supports vulnerable and distressed children throughout the whole of the West Midlands.
Rachel Francis, from Mentor Link, said: “We have modern dancers, tap dancers, singers and even a comedian thrown in the mix.
“This is a fun packed afternoon for all the family and show case our gifted local children whilst supporting a charity.
“We have a few surprises planned during the course of the afternoon too!”
The show will start promptly at 3pm and tickets cost £6 for adults, £4 for under 12s and free for under 2s and are available from Rachel.francis@mentorlink.org.uk, Gainsborough House Hotel or Mentor Link Charity shop on Stourport High Street.
