Dermalogica runs its Student of the Year competition throughout colleges nationwide. Each college has one winner, chosen by the course tutor, who receives a beautician's fob watch and £100 worth of Dermalogica products.
Portia Foster, Beauty Therapy Course Tutor said: "Each year I am asked by Dermalogica to nominate the student who I feel demonstrates the most professionalism in handling clients, attention to detail and all-round expertise as our Student of the Year. Jessica is a highly motivated and dedicated student and certainly stood out to me as our Dermalogica Student of the Year."
Andrew Miller, College Principal added: "Jessica is an excellent and very deserving winner, the Beauty Tutors have been delighted with her work and I am pleased to see that she has returned to Kidderminster College this year to complete her Level 3 NVQ."
After being presented with her award from Mr Miller, Jessica said: "It was a lovely surprise to be told I'd won the competition especially as I got £100 worth of Dermalogica products too - they're really nice, expensive products!"
