PASSENGERS can expect cancellations and delays of up to an hour on trains between Kidderminster and Stourbridge after a person was killed this morning (Wednesday).
All services to and from Stourbridge were suspended after a person was struck and killed by a train at Stourbridge Junction.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said earlier today: "Officers were called to Stourbridge Junction station at 11.11am this morning following reports a person had been struck by a train.
"Paramedics are also in attendance and sadly a person has been pronounced dead.
"Officers remain on scene and are working to identify the person and inform their family."
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a train and a pedestrian.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a Rapid Response Paramedic are in attendance at the scene."
All lines have now reopened but West Midlands Railway is warning passengers that they may experience delays and cancellations while services are recovering.
