Legally Blonde JR will run for three nights from Tuesday April 9 to Thursday, April 11, starting at 6.30pm.
The production features a cast of 30 and the starring role is being played by Year 11 student Katy Cadwallader, with other leading characters played by Max Coleman, Rachel Barney, Casey Howles, Daisy Bunn, Hannah Taylor, Joy Alleyne, Jack Gallacher and his brother Tom.
Head of creative arts Richard Ravenhall said: “The show may be comedic and light-hearted, but it also explores serious themes of self-discovery and independence which resonate with people of all ages.
“The set has been made by our DT department with help from students, in particular year 10 student Kyle Care. In fact, students from every year group are involved in some way, be it on stage, back stage, with lighting, sound or front of house.
“Our musicals are renowned for their quality and we are expecting a sell-out for the three-night run.”
