A KIDDERMINSTER School will bring a theatre favourite to life, featuring well-loved musical numbers.
Students at King Charles I school will perform their version of Broadway musical Annie at the school from Wednesday April 10 to Friday April 12.
The story follows a spirited orphan girl, named Annie, on her mission to find her parents in 1930s New York City. After being abandoned years ago on the doorstep of Miss Hannigan’s orphanage, she embarks on a journey to experience adventure in The Big Apple before finding her forever home.
The musical features popular songs including ‘Hard Knock Life’, ‘The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow’ and ‘Little Girls’ and other well-known classics.
Jo Lacy, Head of performing arts at King Charles I School, said: “Our students have been extremely dedicated to after-school rehearsals since October and are excited to present the result of their hard work when they perform in April. You can ‘bet your bottom dollar’ that it will be a night to remember.”
Tickets cost £6 and can be purchased from the school reception on 01562 512880.
Doors will open at 6:30pm.
