On April 27, Miss Crossey organised a group of eight students to take part in a UK Maths Team Challenge.
Our team included four students from Wolverley, and two each from Sion Hill and Franche Middle Schools. They formed two groups and had a fantastic day competing against schools from across the county.
Our groups performed well, placed 12th and 13th out of the 35 teams. According to Miss Crossey, the event was not only fun, but enhanced the understanding of the students.
"Next year, we're aiming to come in the top 10," she stated. "And given the calibre of our students, we're sure to do it!"
