FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in a Kidderminster park earlier today (Sunday).
Kidderminster fire crews were called out at 1.36pm to a fire in the open in Springfield Park.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said on Twitter that approximately 200 square metres of bracken had been on fire but the majority had been extinguished prior to arrival.

It is not known what caused the blaze.
