BEWDLEY Community Theatre Group's next performance will be a family pantomime adaptation of Aladdin.
The show will be on stage at the Mecure Bewdley The Heath Hotel in January 2020, following last year’s successful performance of Cinderella, which attracted 700 theatre-goers to the venue.
Open auditions for Aladdin are being held at Bewdley’s Guildhall in Load Street this Sunday (May 19) at 7pm and all are welcome to attend.
The theatre group needs actors, chorus, backstage, costume and makeup, front of house and general helpers.
Actors are required for the roles of Abanazar, Wishee Washee, Aladdin, Widow Twanky and the Genie of the Lamp.
Kyle Daisley, show producer, said: “Cinderella was so much fun we just couldn’t resist putting on another panto.
"We had so many positive comments about the show, so it is very exciting that we are putting on Aladdin in 2020.
"If you would like to become part of our theatre group family, please do come along on Sunday and be prepared to have a lot of fun."
Bewdley Community Theatre Group is a voluntary organisation that relies on grant funding and ticket sales to put on its performances.
