MINDLESS vandals have damaged several trees situated on Stourport's Riverside Meadows next to the crazy golf course.
The vandals snapped a number of mature lime trees in addition to a recently planted Sorbus tree which was only installed in February.
Council officials are now calling on anyone with information on the damaged trees to contact them, especially as the Sorbus tree will cost in the region of £135 alone just to replace.
Linda Draycott, who is Wyre Forest's corporate director for community, wellbeing and environment claimed: "The team work hard to keep the district safe, clean and looking good and we are all upset by this mindless act.
"If anyone has any information about the damage caused, we urge them to report it on-line at wyreforestdc.gov.uk/contactparks."
