A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital after being hit by a car on the A4133 just outside of Ombersley.
The incident happened at around 4.45pm on Sunday, May 26 and the road from Ombersley to the Holt Fleet island was closed in both directions while emergency services, including the Midlands Air Ambulance, attended.
A 13-year-old boy was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital via road ambulance with a head injury.
There were no other serious injuries to those involved.
The car involved in the collision was a maroon Mini Cooper and was approaching Holt from Ombersley on the westbound A4133.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who saw the incident or who has dashcam footage of the collision.
A police spokesman said: "If you have any information please contact West Mercia Police via 101, quoting incident 0493s of May 26."
