A SOLO artist is returning to Kidderminster this week for a night of "good old country music".

Walsall-based country music star Mike Kelly impressed fans with his wide knowledge of the genre in January and will take to the stage at Wyre Valley Country Music Club's newest venue, Chester Road Sports and Social Club, on Friday (May 31).

The show starts at 8pm, with doors opening at 7pm.

Tickets can be purchased on the door at the usual price of £7 per person.

A Wyre Valley Country Music Club spokesman said: "Come along and join in with us on a good night of fantastic country music."
