THE puppeteer behind BB-8 and other Star Wars characters will be talking about his extensive career during the Bewdley Festival.
Brian Herring is the latest big name confirmed for this year's festival, which is taking place over two weeks this October.
Best known for being the man behind BB-8, Herring also puppeteered various Star Wars droids and creatures, including Porgs in The Last Jedi, Ponda Babba, Bor Gullet, First Order Mouse Droids, Steel Pecker bird and many animatronic heads.
He also appeared as Ball Fight Gamer in Maz's castle and a resistance solder in the Battle of Crait.
Herring played the parrot-faced Hirang Birren, as well being part of the core puppetry team responsible for bringing Lady Proxima, Rio Durant and many other characters to life in Solo.
In the world of popular music, he has been involved in performances with the Scissor Sisters, Olly Murs, Metallica and Ed Sheeran.
Brian will be talking about his experiences in the film and TV industry and his journey through the Galaxy Far, Far Away during a special Saturday afternoon event at St George's Hall on October 12.
He will also be signing autographs after the event, with all proceeds going to the Haven House Children’s Hospice.
Tickets are £10 from bewdleyfestival.org.uk, where full details of Bewdley Festival are available, or from St George's Hall between 10am and 2pm.
