A MAN was “seriously assaulted” in Kidderminster last night.

Police were called to Park Lane in the late hours of Saturday night (June 1) to reports of concerns for a man’s welfare.

He was found after being seriously assaulted.

Police said today that the victim is in a serious but stable condition.

One person was arrested in connection with the assault and remained in custody this afternoon.

Forensic teams have been carrying out an investigation at the scene in Park Lane today.

A spokesman said: “Thanks to residents of Park Lane for assisting the victim and supporting the police investigation overnight and into today.”
