FAMILIES from around the county enjoyed a special day out at West Midland Safari Park as part of an initiative launched by the Worcestershire Ambassadors.
The group teamed up with West Midland Safari Park to host the event, after the Bewdley attraction gifted over 400 tickets to enable families connected with local mental health charities to enjoy a special day out.
Among the charities invited to attend were Mentorlink, Where Next, WPCC, New College Worcester and New Hope.
Managing director of the safari park, Darren Chorley, said: “It was a great pleasure to support the Worcestershire Ambassadors for their family fun day.
"They do such brilliant work within our community, so we were honoured to host families from the charities they support and provide them with a great day out.
"We hope everyone had a fantastic day with us and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Worcestershire Ambassadors work in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, the Local Enterprise Partnership, University of Worcester and Worcestershire County Council to promote the county.
