A MAN has been jailed after admitting an 8th breach of a restraining order made against him.
Christopher Armstrong, of Ombersley Street West in Droitwich, contacted a woman in Kidderminster by phone and by attending her home address on October 23.
The 35-year-old was prohibited from contacting the woman by a restraining order imposed by Redditch Magistrates' Court on June 11, 2018.
Armstrong admitted the breach when he appeared before Kidderminster magistrates on Saturday (October 26).
The court heard that this was the 8th time Armstrong had breached the order.
Magistrates sentenced him to eight weeks in prison and said the offence was made more serious by the defendant's record of offending.
Armstrong was also ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
