A STOURPORT man made off with hundreds of pounds worth of fuel from petrol stations in Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
Jordan Oadley, of Sandy Lane, admitted stealing a total of £334.55 worth of fuel between May and June this year.
The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to four counts of theft when he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (November 5).
Another 16 fuel theft charges were withdrawn.
Oadley also admitted driving a Ford Focus without a licence and without insurance and failing to stop when asked to do so by a police officer on Monday, November 4.
Magistrates said Oadley's crimes were made more serious by his record of previous offending and his "flagrant disregard" for court orders.
Oadley was sentenced to 26 weeks in a young offender's institution and was disqualified from driving for three years.
No order was made for compensation due to the defendant's limited means.
