A MAN has been arrested following an alleged racially aggravated assault at a caravan park in Bewdley.
Residents have expressed their concern about the incident that happened on July 18 at Acre Farm Caravan Park.
Police were called at around 8pm to reports of two men fighting.
A man in his fifties was arrested for criminal damage and racially aggravated assault and has been released on police bail.
A resident who wishes to remain anonymous told The Shuttle that the caravan park is a 'nice place to live' and 'full of mixed ages' with 'a lot of residents left upset and concerned following the incident'.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police attended Acre Farm Caravan Site on Sunday 18 July at around 8.00pm due to reports of two men fighting.
"A man in his 50’s was arrested for criminal damage and racially aggravated assault and has been released on police bail whilst enquiries continue."
