POLICE handed out tickets during speed enforcement patrols in Kidderminster following concerns from worried residents.
Officers took to Canterbury Road, Hoo Road and Stanklyn Lane as part of the speed enforcement operation on Thursday (July 29).
10 speeding tickets were handed out on Stanklyn Lane, while three drivers were slapped with tickets on Hoo Road.
The highest speed recorded was 46mph in a 30mph area.
Inspector David King joined the patrol after residents voiced their concerns about speeding in the area.
Inspector David King tweeted: "Joined my team yesterday afternoon and spoke to residents on Canterbury Road and Hoo Road. All had concerns about speeding motorists on their roads and welcomed our action. It's 30 for a reason, please watch your speed."

Wyre Forest Police added on Facebook: "Please watch your speed, slow down and remember speeding kills.
"We are reading your comments and will be carrying out further enforcement on a road near you!"
