KEEN snappers are being invited to enter the first ever Kidderminster photography competition.
Kidderminster Town Council is launching the free-to-enter contest, which runs until Monday, September 27.
Entries are being invited on the theme of ‘Summer in Kidderminster’ and the winners will be announced on Monday, October 11, with a presentation by mayor Juliet Smith in the mayor’s parlour on Wednesday, October 13.
Prizes will be awarded in first, second and third categories, with a judging panel consisting of deputy mayor Kevin Gale, council leader David Ross, and the Town Council’s official photographer, Miriam Cunliffe.
Juliet Smith said: “We are delighted to be launching our first photography competition.
“We would like to encourage all residents to go outside with their cameras and take some photographs of our wonderful town – safely – during the summer.”
