A KIDDERMINSTER woman landed a community order after stealing £295 worth of clothing from Matalan.

Natalie Stacey pleaded guilty to stealing £295 from clothes from Matalan in Kidderminster on June 9. At a hearing at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on August 24, Stacey also admitted stealing chocolate and cheese, worth £130.85, from Habberley Service Station on July 7.

The 37-year-old received a community order and a curfew requirement and was ordered to pay £130.85 in compensation.

Meanwhile, a Kidderminster man was hit with a £172 court bill for threatening behaviour. Robin Young, of Whittall Drive East pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent in October 2019.

The 30-year-old was given a two year conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £50 in compensation, a £22 surcharge and £100 costs.

Over at Redditch Magistrates' Court, a Bromsgrove man was ordered to pay a £350 court bill for breaking a restraining order. Simon Hilton, aged 32, of Flavel Road, admitted breaking the order on August 6.

He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £95 surcharge and £135 costs, along with following a community order, at the hearing on August 23

Also before magistrates in Redditch, a Rubery man was disqualified from driving for seven days after driving an Audi while using a mobile. Dean Wale, of Westwood Drive, admitted the offence on August 23, where the 53-year-old was also ordered to pay a court bill totalling £244.

A Birmingham man was jailed for 16 weeks for breaching a restraining order in Stourport. Mark Field, of Upper Grosvenor Road, admitted breaching the order by attending a property on Woodhampton Close. He received a jail sentence for disregarding court orders and was hit with a £313 court bill.

A Kidderminster man was hit with a £502 court bill for driving offences at Herefordshire Magistrates’ Court. Jordan Perry, of Leawood Grove, drove a Ford Transit on Worcester Road without proper control of the vehicle and failed to comply with a red traffic light on January 4. He was fined £375 and ordered to pay a £37 surcharge and £90 costs.
