At the Museum of Carpet, skilled volunteers operate the rare Spool Axminster Loom and the Jacquard Wilton Loom, similar to those featured in the photographs, and they are very important for making the creation of carpet come to life for visitors. However, the Museum (an independent charity) is urgently seeking new power loom technicians for one or two hours per week to show the visitors how carpet was made in Kidderminster. If you're interested get in touch at enquiries@museumofcarpet.org.uk.
