This week we are remembering the golden age of steam with a collection of images from Kidderminster Railway Museum.
The museum, which opened in 1990, holds a fascinating collection of artifacts in a warehouse built by the Great Western Railway in 1878, partly it held goods related to the town’s thriving carpet industry.
The museum focuses on the days of steam and has a huge archive of photographs which are available for people carrying out research.
The museum is located next to platform 2 at Kidderminster station which is the southern terminus for the Severn Valley Railway.
