A MAN has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Stourport.
The crash happened at around 5:20pm in Stourport Road between the Mitre Oak and Crown Lane on Wednesday, December 8.
Emergency services were called to the collision between a grey Vauxhall Corsa a man.
The pedestrian was given trauma care at the scene before being rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 5.17pm to Stourport Road, Stourport on Severn to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
"An ambulance, paramedic officer and two critical care paramedics attended the scene. Crews assessed a pedestrian, a man, who had suspected serious injuries.
"He was given trauma care on scene before being taken by land ambulance on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further care."
