A POPULAR Worcestershire pub is hosting a bottomless brunch where the staff insult you and provide awful service.
The White Hart pub at Hartlebury is hosting a Karen's Bottomless Brunch event, where the theme is terrible service and rude wait staff.
The idea has stemmed from the recent success of a restaurant in Sheffield called Karen's diner, where the same idea is currently being used.
The event is part of a wide variety of bottomless brunch events held at the pub.
Andy Mosley, owner of The White Hart, said: "We have been hosting our bottomless brunches at the pub for a while now and we always look to give them fun and interesting themes.
"At Christmas, we had a funny Saucy Santa and The Grinch themed bottomless brunch which seemed to be massively popular amongst our customers.
"We think the whole Karen's Bottomless Brunch idea is a really funny concept and it will give the staff a chance to be really funny.
"After covid, I think a lot of people got to enjoy the table service in pubs and bars so it will give the chance for the staff to have some fun as well."
Andy said that the event is nearly fully booked already and has captured the attention of lots of people on social media.
What is a Karen's Brunch?
A post on social media said: "Are you easily offended? Can you give it out but not take it? Do you moan about everything? Then this isn’t for you, Welcome to Karen’s Bottomless Brunch.
"Prepared to be insulted, prepared to be laughed at and prepare for awful service.
The rudest staff ever and not a manager to be seen. This makes our Christmas Sassy Santa & The Grinch BB look like a play day."
The event will serve a meze style buffet and a 2-hour unlimited drinks package, with losers karaoke, forfeit bingo and pin the tail on the hunk.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 25, with two sittings from 1pm to 3pm and 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
