A CLONED car was seized by police yesterday (June 9) after being found abandoned.
The car is expected to have been used in rural crime around Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
A social media post credited "eagle-eyed officers" for spotting the vehicle abandoned.

According to AutoTrader, number plate cloning, also known as car cloning or vehicle identity theft, is when someone copies a car’s registration number and assigns it to another car.
Criminals often choose a vehicle with a ‘clean history’ to replicate on their car.
Often, criminals replicate the number plate of a similar make, model and colour to make it difficult for the police to identify them and instead wrongly fine the actual owner of the car plates.
