BRITISH number one Emma Raducanu inspired Wolverly students during a live Q and A session.
Students at Wolverley CE Secondary School had the opportunity to take part in a live virtual Q and A with the 19-year-old US Open champion earlier this week.
Seven students entered their proposed questions into a school-wide competition and won the chance to be able to ask their questions to the tennis sensation over a Zoom meeting.
These students were Hayden Vander, Lily Halliday, Lottie Mason, Benjamin Rodenhurst, Madison Wooton-Porter, Lauren Parkinson and Beatrice Gould.
Headteacher, Mr Bryn Thomas said “The students represented the school fantastically well, delivering their questions with confidence.
"The whole school was inspired by the in depth responses and advice given to them from Emma, perhaps one of our students will become a sports star of the future who was influenced by her.”
