TWO Kidderminster shops look set to be closed down after police seized £6k in cash as well as counterfeit tobacco and illegal vapes.
International Supermarket and European Mini Market, both on Blackwell Street were raided by police and trading standards.
Wyre Forest Police said two stores on the street have been raided six times since opening.
Closure notices on both stores were set to be heard at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (Tuesday July 5).
A spokesperson for Wyre Forest Police said on social media: "Due to continuing reports of under age purchases and intel received, a further raid on a pair of stores on Blackwell Street has been conducted by Police and Trading Standards.
"A further £6000 in suspect cash and a large quantity of counterfeit tobacco and illegal vapes have been seized.
"This is the 6th consecutive raid on these properties since they opened.
"As a result, with all the previous evidence gathered, along with this latest haul, a closure notice has been applied for to shut these premises down."
