A PLAN has been revealed to move the outreach Post Office in Cookley to a pub.
The Post Office is proposing to relocate its service at Cookley Village Hall, which is open for an hour on Tuesdays between 9.30am and 10.30am, to the Eagle & Spur.
The postmaster for Potter’s Cross Post Office, who operates Cookley Outreach Service, has identified an opportunity to move this Post Office service to a more central location within the village, subject to public consultation.
There would be a dedicated Post Office serving position at the Eagle & Spur public house on Castle Road, which will have the same opening times as the previous location on Lea Lane.
Post Office customers have the opportunity to give feedback on the plan up until September 15 2022. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 076470.
Submissions can also be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to Freepost YOUR COMMENTS, or by telephone 03452 66 01 15 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.
