YOUNGSTERS from two Wyre Forest schools spent two days in the driving seat of a Formula 1 car during a lesson on safety.
Pupils from Baxter College and Stourport Secondary School were visited by ex-professional motorcross racer, Tim Matthews.
The driving instructor, who was a judge on the programme, So You Want To Be a Formula 1 Racing Driver?, brought the car to the Stourport school to address road safety issues.
Mike Humphreys, deputy headteacher at Stourport Secondary School, said: "The event was fabulous and the pupils really enjoyed it.
"Even the students with no interest in motor sports enjoyed themselves."
