STARS in your eyes this season? Five-point star motifs have been seen on the all the best-dressed celebrities in recent weeks. We show you how to get the starry look with the high street's best buys.

When Kate Moss donned a Chanel star jumpsuit complete with glam rock star-shaped face paint to celebrate her 34th birthday, the fashion forecast was clearly written in the skies.
Five-point stars are a huge trend this season. On the spring/summer catwalks, Yves Saint Laurent, Pucci, Chanel and John Rocha all sprinkled a little stardust magic over their collections. From daring jumpsuits to classic macs and oversized starry jewellery, this spring it's all about stars.
"Okay, so we can't all pull off Kate Moss's starry Chanel catsuit for a trip down the shops but this doesn't matter a jot," says Grazia fashion features editor, Melanie Rickey.
"The star motif is the most versatile trend we have come across in ages."
Give this print trend a starring role in your wardrobe quick-smart before it vanishes. ASOS and Topshop have both seen twinkle-style best sellers fly off the shelves faster than you can say "shooting star"!
DAY OR NIGHT?
The real-deal stars may only come out at night but, in fashion land, anything is possible.
Melanie says: "Star print can be perfect for the day, as well as evening wear."
Topshop, New Look and Dolly Dagger (www.dollydagger.co.uk) have a great range of casual star print tees, hoodies and cardigans that should add some shine to your casualwear.
Star print frocks can also be worn dressed up or down, so don't just reserve them for after-dark activities. You don't need an Arctic Monkey band member on your arm to work the rock chick vibe - just add biker jacket and shoe-boots a la Alexa Chung to give the star look a bit of an edge.
STAR BUYS
Before you transform your wardrobe into a scene from a Patrick Moore stargazing session, stop right there. Peruse star fashions wisely and choose just one or two key items to work the look - minus the overkill.
"This is not a trend to go for wholesale," Melanie warns. "Just one accessory and one clothing item with star appeal will do."
If you want a dress with star potential, check out Therapy's star dress, £35 at House of Fraser, TK Maxx's star print dress, £24.99 and Jaeger's star lace dress, £125.
For other star performers, check out Topshop's cinched star print jacket, £55, ASOS's star print shirt, £28, Dorothy Perkins's star print blouse, £28 (42 Euros) and New Look's star print long top, £22.
ACCESS ACCESSORIES
Those who have stars in their eyes but just can't see them working in their wardrobe can still tap into the trend with accessories.
From earrings, bracelets and necklaces, jewellery has really been given the star treatment.
Forget spending £380 on Emilio Pucci's must-have oversized star necklace. You certainly don't need a telescope to search for the high street's big selection of super starry bargains - they're everywhere.
Look to Freedom at Topshop's gold stars necklace, £6, Ikandie's Spectrum Dreamer multicoloured star necklace, £38 and Internacionale's black and white star print bangles, £3.
Peaches Geldof has been spotted hitting the town wearing a Topshop monochrome star print scarf. Seeking similar neck candy? Try Red Herring's multicoloured star print scarf, £6 (9 Euros) at Debenhams or Internacionale's monochrome star print scarf, £4. If it's raining outside, brighten up your day with Superdrug's star umbrella, £7.99.
STAR HINTS
If you want to the world to know you're loving the star trend, embrace big bold prints. To simply give a subtle nod to all-things starry, invest in subtle, starburst-styles instead.
Star prints work best on black or navy fabric for a sophisticated look. Buy into stars on a bright coloured background and you're in danger of entering teen-style territory.
If you do want to work some colour into your starry prints, make them multicoloured as seen at Emilio Pucci's show. The designer paraded bright star-print flouncy dresses down the runway - perfect for the summer months.
Love experimenting with prints? Put your most daring fashion foot forward and mix star and stripe prints for the all-American girl look. Chanel used clashing prints to team a star monochrome mini dress with a red and white stripe blazer.
