GREASE was the word for staff at a Stourport opticians when they donned Pink Lady and T-Birds outfits, raising £470 for charity.
The Grease-themed fund-raising day was in aid of Diabetes UK and workers at Specsavers wore the pink and black jackets, made famous through the musical, to collect donations.
Jonathon Lee, store director, said: "Diabetes UK is such a fantastic charity and the staff were really keen to get involved and raise lots of money."
For donations, staff offered a free specs MoT service and sold cakes decorated in the colours of Rydell High - the school in Grease. They also ran in-store competitions.
Elaine Smith, the store manager, said: "The day went brilliantly. We are really excited about how much we managed to raise.
"We had a great day, with lots of fun. It's the most we have raised through fund-raising events, so we are really pleased.
"The staff and public really got into the spirit of things, helping us to raise lots of money."
