A JUDGE has issued a warrant for the arrest of a care worker accused of thefts from pensioners.
Rachel Grimes, 33, of Usmere Road, Kidderminster, failed to turn up at Worcester Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing.
She is accused of stealing two gold gemstone rings, a wedding ring, a shop voucher and cash.
The five charges between Feburary and May last year relate to three alleged female victims.
Judge John Cavell issued a warrant, not backed with bail, after the defendant's barrister Jason Aris said he had no explanation for her absence.
