GREEN-fingered pupils have been growing their own blooms for a school flower show.
Year four children at Burlish Park Primary School, in Stourport, were each given a hyacinth bulb to take home in a plant pot and grow, in October.
Before the pupils broke up for the end of autumn term, they were given a few gardening tips by Derek Walker, of Little Larford cottage and gardens in Astley Burf.
Youngsters were then asked to bring in their flowering hyacinths in February.
Mr Walker returned to Burlish Park to judge the best and hand out prizes, including WH Smith vouchers.
