TWO Kidderminster fire crews today responded to a report of a fire at Coral Bookmakers in Bewdley.
The cellar of the Load Street premises was full of smoke when the crews arrived but there was no fire.
Firefighters reported that a discarded cigarette end had been dropped down the building's ventilation shaft and had been smouldering causing the smoke.
The incident happened at 2.50pm and and the building was briefly closed off while firefighters inspected the scene.
