A DRUG dealer from Kidderminster who was repeatedly arrested by police has been jailed at Worcester Crown Court for five years.
Matthew Weaver, 28, was first detained in Offmore Road, Kidderminster, when he had nine wraps of heroin on him and a dealer's list of customers.
He was granted bail but within a week was arrested again on a canal towpath with more drugs secreted inside his body, said Kerry Moreton, prosecuting.
Police revealed he was still involved in dealing when they raided his flat in Albert Road, Kidderminster. Again, heroin was discovered.
Miss Moreton said it was accepted that he was a low-level dealer in hard drugs making a modest profit.
Weaver pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with intent to supply.
He was caught during a seven-week period in September and October last year.
Defence counsel Jason Aris said Weaver had been a drug addict for nine years but was motrivated to kick the habit.
Judge John Cavell said he was concerned that Weaver had repeatedly offended when he was granted bail.
He made a confiscation order in the sum £321, profits made from drug dealing.
