SHUTTLE Online readers appear divided on the effects of the 24-hour licensing laws.
In last week's online poll 44 per cent of those voting felt the laws had been a success, but more than half (56 per cent) felt they had not.
Our online poll was prompted by the outcome of a review of the controversial laws which claimed crime and alcohol consumption was down but some areas had seen a rise in disorder while drink-related violence had increased in the early hours.
