A SELL-OUT rock and roll night has raised £1,000 for the Back on Track appeal.
Lyvewyre guitarist, Richard Yates, said: "It was a great night and everybody enjoyed themselves. We all enjoyed it too - we always do."
He added: "We had several guest appearances, such as Buddy Holly' and Johnny Cash', which was a lot of fun. Sam Pagett also did a few numbers on his saxophone."
Mr Yates explained that the band had now been invited to do the first gig when the Stourport Sports Club clubhouse was rebuilt.
He said the night itself at the Severn Valley Railway's King & Castle pub, raised £879, while Stourport company, Rotary Printers, which provided the posters and tickets free of charge, added £121 to make the £1,000 total.
