POLICE have officially named the man who died following a collision on the A449 last Friday as Matthew Dyson.
The 25-year-old electrical engineer, of Leicester Street, Worcester, died after being in collision with two vehicles at two minutes after midnight.
The incident took place on the A449 Kidderminster to Worcester road, near the Reindeer pub, after Mr Dyson left the China City restaurant on foot. He died at the scene.
Coroner for Worcestershire, Geraint Williams, was expected to open and adjourn an inquest at Stourport today.
