POLICE are appealing for anyone finding a diamond ring which has been lost in Bewdley to hand it in.

The ring is thought to have been lost in the car park by the doctors' surgery off Load Street yesterday afternoon.

It is described as white gold, with a large diamond. The shoulders had smaller diamonds.

It had been bought by the owner's husband as a golden wedding anniversary present for her and is of sentimental value. She is offering a reward for its return.

Anyone who finds it is asked to contact Kidderminster police on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
