DIVERS - The first dive trip of the year saw a group of seven club members at the inland dive centre known as Stoney Cove in Leicestershire.
Besides giving members a chance to check their equipment and skills ahead of the UK coastal dive season, it was also the first open water dive and assessment for new member Kevin Tolley, with six further new members are due to complete their training over the next few weeks the club has a full calendar of inland, UK coastal and trips abroad planned for 2008.
All new members receive free training, the free loan of equipment during their basic pool training. Details regarding learning to scuba dive are available at www.StourportDivers.com or by phoning John Carmichael on weekdays between 9am and 6pm on 01562 753637.
