A YOUTH community radio station run for young people by young people has been given a significant boost from independent regulator, Ofcom.
Youthcomm Radio covering Wyre Forest and run by Worcestershire County Council's Youth Support service for eight years, is now broadcasting on the FM frequency after being granted a community radio licence.
The station is one of the first stations in the country to have been given a radio community licence from Ofcom.
Previously only available via the internet, the popular station can now be found at 106.7FM.
