STOURPORT residents are being invited to help make props, costumes and puppets for a show being performed at the revamped canal basins this summer.
The Flow Festival is a weekend family event on July 12 and 13 to celebrate the completion of the canal basins restoration.
The event will include craft markets, children's activities, guided walks, processions and an audio visual extravaganza.
Locals can do their bit to make the festival a success by going along between 10am and 2pm from Tuesday to Friday this week.
They will get the chance to take part in arts and crafts workshops to make fish and boats to be used in the festival.
From 3pm to 8pm on the same days, adults and young people aged 12 and over who are interested in performing and costume making can work with professional designers and directors to help devise characters and create costumes.
