FAMILIES keen to escape the house - and a mountain of chocolate eggs - can head to Bewdley Museum today.
Between noon and 3pm, youngsters can explore the museum's galleries and gardens while hunting for Easter eggs.
Monica Rees, education officer for the museum, said: "We hope lots of children will come along and enjoy solving the clues which lead them to an eggy surprise.
"When they've finished the trail they can also have a go at our Easter-themed quizzes."
Visitors to the museum will be taken back to the time before CDs, MP3s, laptops and electronic notepads, at the Ideas and Innovations exhibition.
A display of colourful paintings by past and present members of Birmingham Water Colour Society will also brighten up the museum for its new season.
The museum is open daily from 10am until 4pm.
