LENNY Kravitz is a king of catchy retro rock and all-round sex god. So where better to see him in action than Camden's Koko - just intimate enough for that legendary appeal to ooze well into the crowd, without stifling any of that charismatic energy.
The show was postponed from February so Lenny could recover from a bout of flu. Whatever remedies he used worked a treat. Lenny was on top form, belting out classic favourites such as Fly Away, as well as songs from his latest album, It Is Time For A Love Revolution. Crowd-pleasing saxophone and trumpet solos upped the funk factor. The audience showed Lenny a lot of love and he returned the affection by inviting the front row to join him on stage. A real treat.
