A YOUTH brandishing a kitchen knife fled empty-handed after demanding money in an attempted robbery in a Kidderminster takeaway.
The incident happened in the Hong Kong Kitchen takeaway, on Longfellow Green, just before 11pm on Saturday.
An assistant refused to hand over any cash and the youth ran away.
The offender is described as white, of slim build, aged 15 or 16, wearing a black zip-up jacket with the hood up and a black scarf covering his mouth and nose.
He was also wearing black woolly gloves. The knife was about 12 inches long and had a wooden handle.
